Developing with Style is the gateway to the world according to me; Joel Moss. It's a place where I can talk, comment, tweet, post, rant, rave and of course, plug my own products and services.

Since 1999, I've been enjoying this thing that they call the internet. It's a place where I can do as I please, when I please and where ever I please. I get to discover new things almost every day of the week, and get bowled over by how much power it puts before me. I can achieve things that I never thought were possible, and that in itself, is extremely powerful!

I live in Manchester, England, and right now, I work freelance developing PHP, Ruby and Ruby on Rails projects. I spend a lot of my time developing ShermansTravel.com, with a small team located in New York, and the rest of my time on the newly launched Codaset.com, and other client projects.

I've also built apps for the likes of Vodafone and Carsonified, and given presentations at FOWA and several open source conferences.

I am active in the open source community, having contributed to the CakePHP framework, and written several open source projects. You could also say that I am a dab hand with all things web based, be it HTML, Javascript (including the popular JS frameworks; jQuery and Prototype) and CSS.

I've dabbled with Python, reminisced with Perl, had a love/hate relationship with PHP, and fell head over heels in love with Ruby.
